Reiner Roy Howard, age 35, went home to his heavenly Father on October 6, 2020. Born on July 14, 1985 in Anniston, Alabama to parents Gregory and Monica Howard. A graveside service to celebrate Reiner's life will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, October 9, 2020 at Shiloh Advent Christian Church. Rev. Dr. Chris Baucom will be officiating. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. Reiner lived life with a positive attitude, a kind heart, a gentle soul, and a helping hand—always lifting others up. He was known for his willingness to help, no matter the time or day, and always came accompanied with his infectious smile. When not working as a skilled electrician with Kromah Electric, Reiner enjoyed spending time outdoors and working on projects with family and friends. A protector by nature, his family and friends always came first. An avid fan of James Dean, Reiner lived life by his quote, "Life is short, break the rules (they were made to be broken). Forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile. The clouds are lined with silver and the glass is half full (the answers won't be found at the bottom). Don't sweat the small stuff. You are who you are meant to be. Dance as if no one's watching. Love as if it's all you'll ever know. Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." Reiner would want others to remember to stay positive no matter what life throws your way, encourage others to be the best they can be and embrace every moment in life with gratitude. Reiner's impact on our lives will never be forgotten and his memory will live in our hearts forever. Reiner is preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Georgia Howard, and grandmother, Barbara Braswell. He is survived by his father, Greg Howard, mother, Monica Howard, sister, Nina Linnehan, sister, Nicole Price (husband, Brent Price), brother, Hunter Howard, three nephews, one niece, grandfather, Elton Braswell and fiancé, Erin Cassidy.
