Randy Dale Richardson "Drak", 63, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 25, 2021. He was born October 12, 1958 to the late Herman Arthur Richardson and Sarah Helms Richardson. He is also preceded in passing by his brothers, David Richardson and Dwayne Richardson. Funeral services will be held at 5:00pm, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church, 3703 Mary Elizabeth Church Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 4:45pm at Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church prior to the beginning of the service. Burial will be private at a later date. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Nancy Brookbank; step-daughter, Stacey Laney; siblings, Pam Rape (Mike), Jeff Richardson (Betty Sue); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Randy was a man who loved his family. He especially loved being able to spend time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Randy was the type of man who loved people and would drop anything he was doing to help someone else in need. He also had a smile and a sense of humor that would light up any room. He also loved music, and old western movies and flowers. Randy also loved the beach. Him and his wife would take any opportunity they had to pack their bags and head to the beach. Randy worked at Hoss Construction in Wingate with several of his family members. Randy will be deeply missed and forever be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
