Mr. Ralph "Scott" DuBose, 60, passed away April 12, 2024. Scott was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on July 11, 1963, to the late Samuel Irvin DuBose and Linda Gale O'Connor.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Holland Funeral Service.

Scott worked for Charlotte Pipe and Foundry for 35 years, but His true passions were hunting and spending time with his family. He could be found in the woods every deer season enjoying God's beautiful nature. He enjoyed going to car shows and looking at all the different antique cars and trucks, he also could be found working with his son, under the hood of a vehicle at any time. He was a member of New Salem Volunteer Fire Dept, for a short period, where he served as a volunteer fire fighter and emt until he was unable to do so due to his health. Scott was a true definition of a Good Samaritan, he would drop what he was doing at any moment to help anyone in need. Scott was known as lot of things, but his favorite by far was being a Pop Pop. His love for his grandkids was unmatched. He was truly one in a million and will be greatly missed.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca "Becky" Morris DuBose; daughters, Leslie Plyler (Chris), and Gale DuVall (Matthew); son, Ryan DuBose (Kiersten); grandchildren, Caroline Plyler, CJ Plyler, and Kinsley DuBose; brothers, Sammy DuBose (Nancy), David DuBose (Sonia), Philip Victor (Mary) and Doug DuBose; sister, Dorian Herbert (Lantz); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in passing by his step-parents, Tom O'Connor and Mary Lou DuBose; grandparents, Ralph and Jimmie Greene, Washington Irvin and Candacey DuBose; and grandchildren, Baby DuBose and Shiloh Greer DuVall.
