Phillip Jimmy Jones, 35, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2021. He was born January 2nd, 1986, to Jeff and Tammy Jones. Phillip is preceded in passing by grandmothers, Deane Parker, Peggy Bivens, and Joan Jones; Grandpa, Eddie Jones; and aunt, Jennifer Jones. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Corinth Baptist Church, 3805 Corinth Church Rd., Monroe, NC 28112. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. There will also be a visitation from 2:00pm until 2:45pm at Corinth Baptist Church prior to the beginning of the service. Phillip is survived by his three beautiful children, Landon, 12, Hope, 11, and Zane, 5; parents, Jeff Jones and Tammy Parker Jones of Monroe, NC; sisters, Hailee and Kasey (Shaun) both of Monroe, NC; nephew, Wylie of Monroe, NC; grandpas, Jimmy Parker of Monroe, NC, and Chuck Bivens of Wingate, NC; aunt Lisa (Mike); cousins, Kayla(Logan), Kendall and Kody (Kendall); uncles Ronny Parker, Jamie Jones, Jason Jones, and Bruce Moser; Aunts, Monica Tucker (Randy), Leslie Moser, and Kelly Moser; and multiple family members and friends that he loved with all his heart. Though Phillip had a long hard battle with addiction, the family wants him to be remembered for his heart of gold. Phillip was a kind soul and he loved hard, especially his three children who were his greatest treasures. He had the funniest sense of humor and a laugh that was so contagious. His smile and his pretty blue eyes could light up any room. He was known to his family as "Bubby" and he will be greatly missed forever. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Jones Family.
