Michael Wilson Roscoe, 42, of Waxhaw, NC, went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2023. He was born on October 25, 1980 in Charlotte, NC.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Luther Wilson Roscoe; grandfather, Calvin Hall Pettus; grandmother, Mary Chandler Pettus; grandfather, Julian Roscoe; and niece, Zimaya Reign Thompson. He will be remembered by his surviving mother, Lisa Carol Pettus; son, Alex Roscoe; daughter, Riley Roscoe; sisters, Jennifer Sellars (Wade) and Courtney Thompson (Jermon); grandmother, Ruby Roscoe; uncles, Stephen Pettus and Jeff Roscoe (Judy); aunts, Joyce and Billie Page; nephews, Nehemiah, Cortlyn, and Clayson Thompson; and niece, Zaeleigh Thompson.

Michael had a soft heart for his children. He loved his family. He enjoyed reading his Bible, fishing, gambling, going on vacation, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a dedicated hard worker. He would light up a room with his presence. His energy and loyalty will be unmatched. May his light shine through anyone's soul that he may have touched. May God rest his soul.

The family will greet guests at the Visitation on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC. Flowers may be sent directly to the funeral home or donations in Michael's honor may be made to Ground 40.
