Monroe – Micah Eron Church, 34, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord, Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born September 26,1990 in Mecklenburg County, he was the son of Michael and Kathy Church. Micah was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmothers Kenneth and Katherine Mode, Francis Mode, Gary and Judy Calloway, Gene Church and Sue Callaway.
To know Micah, was to love Micah. He could charm you with that big smile or make you laugh the moment he opened his mouth. If you didn't like him, he would try his best to make you love him even more. He was a people person if there ever was one, and never once met a stranger. He never cared about material things, all he cared about was companionship, friendship, and the genuine love of others. If you were his friend, then you were his brother and there was no grey area. If you were his friend, he would let you know by giving you a hard time, and the harder he was on you the more he loved you. He was a momma's boy through and through and if it involved her then he wanted every part of it. He loved his father more than anything, and was always trying to make him proud. Michael made him the man he was and as stated before Micah gave him the hardest time of all. His brother was as much a part of him as a second limb and loved him more than life itself. But most importantly, he was the ultimate girl dad. His girls were his world and there wasn't an award ceremony, ball game, or celebration he would miss. Beyond his love for his girls, his passion was riding anything fast, whether that be a truck, motorcycle, four-wheeler, or dirt bike. He loved all and was loved by all, and he would give the shirt off his back for a moment of happiness for another. He was a man of faith and loved the Lord with all his heart and he showed that by loving those around him like Jesus does.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Micah will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Solid Rock Baptist Church and the family will receive friends at the church prior to the service with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. The burial will be private.
