In Loving Memory of Luis Alberto Galvez Aguilar who was born February 1, 1990 and passed away February 12, 2023.

Luis, raised in Brooklyn, NY, was known for his strong, unbreakable, unyielding faith and loving devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Luis was a loving son, brother, and friend. He would often teach us how we should love and support everyone regardless of how they treat us. He strongly believed that showing love was never a sign of weakness and to often tell the people around you how much you care for them.

You can always count on Luis for support and advice regardless of who you were. Luis always believed in people and he always tried to find the good in everyone he crossed paths with. Luis would never turn you away when you were in need; he always showed respect. He would treat strangers like they were family. Anyone who knew Luis could attest to his good character and caring demeanor. Luis made rosaries and would often give some to those who he felt was in need. Always in good faith, happy in nature, and a warm happy presence to those around him.

Luis Galvez is survived by his father, Alberto Galvez Guevara; mother, Maria Esther Galvez Aguilar; brothers, Anthony Galvez and Mitchell Galvez; sister, Janett Galvez Quizphi and brother-in-law, Johnny Quizphi; and niece and nephews, Damian Quizphi, Natalia Quizphi, and Camila Quizphi.

Visitation will be held from 7:00PM-10:00PM on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Monroe. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park.
