Larry Render of Indian Trail, NC was born on January 21, 1950, in Griffin, Georgia. He passed away on May 18, 2022. He was the son of late Rhuedene Render and brother to the late Randy Render. Larry Render was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle and brother-in-law. He loved his family. He also was a great fan of sports. Most of all, he loved the game of basketball and football. He retired from the postal services after 37 years where he was a manager. He also met his wonderful wife, Veronica, better known as Cookie, but to Larry she was known as Ronnie. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Veronica Lewis-Render; his three sons, Reggie of Indian Trail, Rodney of Brooklyn, NY and Richard of Brooklyn, NY; three special daughters, Edy of Brooklyn, NY, Sophie of Matthews, NC and Emily of Indian Trail, NC; his adorable grandkids, Norey, Kayla, Austen, Micah & Kimora. To them he was known as Peepop. He is also survived by his two loving sisters, Angela Woods of Atlanta, GA and Kathie Reid of Raleigh, NC and Uncle Jessie Marshall of Griffin, GA; brother-in-laws, Easy of Wesley Chapel, NC and James of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-laws, Theresa of Wesley Chapel, NC, Anna of St. Louis, MO and Althea of St. Louis, MO and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. There will be a Repast at the Event Studio by BF Designs, 103 Wilkes Drive, Unit 11, Monroe, NC 28110 after the Memorial Service. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the Render family.
