Our Son Kyle Mason Smith's short life ended on Friday, October the sixth. His smile and personality lit up the room. He was Born on April 7, 1996, in Easton Md.

After Graduating from North Caroline High school Kyle joined the Army and was a member of D Co, and B co 1-187 Infantry Regiment (Rakkasans) and was deployed to Afghanistan in support of OFS. Kyle enjoyed time with family and friends and peaceful evenings fishing by the lake. Kyles time here was much too short, but our memories of him will forever be in our hearts. Kyle was a father, son, brother, and friend.

Kyle was a large part of a large, blended family and is survived by His Son; Hunter Smith, Mother; Theresa Anderson and stepfather; Frank (clint) Anderson, Father; Robert Hillock and Stepmother; Sarah Hillock. Siblings; Austin Frampton, Erica Hillock, Jasmine Evans, Zachary Evans, Jacob Evans, Frank (CJ) Anderson, Kristin Anderson, Nathan (Nate) Hollars, his dog Coco, And a host of loving relatives and friends.

Please join his family for a "Drop-In" Memorial Gathering on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Holland Funeral Service (806 Circle Dr, Monroe NC 28112) from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Afterwards, we will be having a celebration of his life with a potluck lunch at 1037 Austin Chaney Rd Wingate. We invite anyone who knew him to attend and help us remember his amazing life.
