Kevin "Stump" Lee Delp, 48, passed away February 8, 2022. He was born October 22, 1973 to Carolyn Floyd Delp and the late James Rex Delp. A Celebration of Life Service and Viewing will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Bailee Delp; grandchild, Jaxon Usery; niece, Kala Burgess; nephews, Cameron Burgess and Dylan Burgess; special friends, Steve and Leigh Swann, Andrew Swann, Lacey Swann; and numerous other special family members and friends. Kevin was a kind and outgoing man. He had a personality that could light up any room. He cherished the 17 years he was able to coach his daughter's softball team and he even coached his nephews baseball team. Kevin loved hanging out with his family and friends whether that meant going out to dinner or playing a game of cornhole. He was a Carolina Tar Heels fan and a Panthers fan. Kevin will be truly missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Swann and Boyce family.
