It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Wayne Earp, 57, of Monroe, NC, on January 2, 2025.

Kenny, born on March 13, 1967, to Paul Wayne Earp and the late Sylvia Eudy Earp, was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and love for the simple things in life. He found peace by the ocean and cherished time spent with family. His faith in Jesus was essential to him through his tough battle.

Kenny is survived by his father, Paul Wayne Earp; his brother, Michael Troy Earp; and his sister, Kimberley Earp Griffin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Eudy Earp.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service. His family will honor him by scattering his ashes at the beach, a place that brought him joy and peace.

Kenny will be missed by all who knew him. In place of flowers, the family asks that you reflect on your own fond memories of him.

May he rest in peace, carried by the waves he loved.
