Jonathon Michael Burrows, 34, passed away January 19, 2023. Jonathon was born in Charlotte, NC on June 19, 1988 to Kelly Burrows and Timothy Mayze. Jonathon was raised by his grandparents John and Gladys Burrows. As a little boy he loved to sing in church with his Papaw John. He was active in sports at a young age. He enjoyed spending time at his Aunt Angie's home with his cousins Steven and Andrew Autry. He loved to ride bikes. He was always taking apart anything mechanical and would put it back together. He was Papaw's fishing buddy and loved to come home to eat Mamaw's dinner. Jonathon was a good artist with an eye for detail. Later in life Jonathon reconnected with his mom Kelly and became the best of friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Eastwood Forest Baptist Church, 112 Aurora Blvd., Matthews, NC 28105. His uncle, Rev. Roger Burrows will be officiating the service. The visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.

Jonathon is survived by his mother, Kelly Burrows; father, Timothy Mayze; grandparents, John and Gladys Burrows; aunt, Angie (Danny) Autry; uncle, Johnny Burrows; cousins, Daniel Autry, Steven (Hannah) Autry, and Andrew Autry. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eastwood Forest Baptist Church, 112 Aurora Blvd., Matthews, NC 28105.

If there was one thing that he could say to his loved ones right now it would be "Remember What I Told You"
