Johnathan Dwayne Phillips "JP", Age 27, of Monroe, NC gained his wings Wednesday- January 17, 2024.

Johnathan was born in Monroe on May 27, 1996 and was a loving Father, husband, brother, cousin, and friend. Johnathan fell into a sickness he could not recover from. He is now free. No more pain, no more suffering, he is flying free.

Johnathan is preceded in Death by his Father, Thomas Dwayne Phillips, his mother, Misty Ann Phillips, and his Grandmother Mildred Ashley Phillips.

Johnathan leaves behind his wife, Courtney Phillips, and their two children Levi Garrett Phillips and Lilly Cheyann Cox.

Johnathan is survived by his Brothers, Nicholas Phillips, Christopher Thompson, Dylan Phillips, Austin Phillips and his sisters, Jessica Russell, Summer Thompson, Melissa Thompson, Alleya Phillips, and Savannah Thompson. His Uncle David Ashley. As well as many close cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00pm until 3:00pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to His widow via cash app- $CornDog1990 or directly to Holland Funeral home to help cover the cost of honoring Johnathan's final wishes.
