John Joseph Walsh Jr passed away February 25, 2023, at Hospice of Union County. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Walsh and his sister Joan Showald.

He is survived by his son, John Walsh III of Monroe and his girlfriend Lora Lyons, neighbors Connie, Luis, Betty, Harry, and Marsha and David of Monroe, and two special dogs, Francis and Coco.

He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Monroe and had many friends including, Gerri, Gail,  Kathy, and Mary Ellen.

John loved his Mustang and was a member of the Carolina Regional Mustang Club and frequented area car shows in the summers.

John, his son, would like to thank Hospice of Union County for the wonderful care they provided, and Greg Collins and Monroe Fire Department Station 4 for taking such great care of John, Jr many times in the past.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on at 10:00AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes, Monroe, NC.
