Mr. John William Deese, age 76, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Atrium Health Union. Johnny, as he was known to family and friends, was born on September 16, 1944 in Union County, NC to the late John Deese and Etta Threatt Deese. Johnny was a carpenter for any years. He lived a humble life; however, his life was rich with friends and family that loved him. Johnny would gladly give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. Johnny is survived by a sister, Ms. Barbara Staton, and brothers, Mr. Jimmy (Isabell) Deese and Carson (Eloise) Deese. He is also survived by a very large extended family who will always cherish his memory. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
