Stan Hargett, 69, of Monroe, North Carolina went home on Saturday December 14, 2024, to be reunited with the love of his life, Phyllis and his precious grandson, Cameron. He was born in 1955 to RC and Mary Hargett. He was the brother of Robert, Jimmy, Ricky, David, and Ronnie. He was preceded in passing by his wife Phyllis, his parents RC and Mary, brothers Robert and David and grandson Cameron.

A private family funeral service will be held Wednesday December 18,2024.

He married the love of his life, Tootsie, on his 19th birthday. They later had 2 girls, Crystal (John) and Mandy (Kenneth). Then came his greatest joy, his grandkids, Brook (Corey), Cameron, Jordan (Faron), Hunter, Briar, Kenzie, and Leslie. Pop will always be remembered as the most loving husband, Papa, and the world's greatest Pawpaw. He is the strongest man we've ever known, and he will always be our hero. Our world will be empty until we meet again. Until then, we will love you forever, we will like you for always. As long as we're living, our Papa you will be.
