Mr. Joel Wilson Presley, 68 of Monroe, NC went to explore the heavenly mountains & waterfalls with Jesus by his side on April 15, 2025.

Gone too soon, Joel was a strong, devoted, kindhearted and loving Son, Brother and Uncle who touched more people than we will ever know, and his spirit will be remembered by all.

Joel was a Moving Consultant with Citywide Moving Systems, Inc. and retired after 30 years of dedicated employment.

On any given day, you could find Joel walking his beloved Chihuahuas, Angel & Ace, or taking them and his precious Cockatoo, Bailey, for a ride to visit family and friends.

A true adventurer who loved nature and took countless hiking trips in pursuit of waterfalls while enjoying all of God's majestic scenery throughout the NC & TN mountains.

Joel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hoyle and Mamie (Warner) Cox.

He is survived by his loving mother, Clara M. (Cox) Mangum and his sisters, Toni Gale (Presley) Mungo, Teresa A. (Presley) Salyer (Ron), Donna M. (Presley) Matthews, (Rod), Rhonda D. Presley and was blessed with many Nieces, Nephews, Great & Great-Great Nieces & Nephews, extended family and friends who he cherished deeply.

Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor Chris Baucom will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, with visitation following at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.
