Joel R. Edwards entered into Heaven's Gates on June 1, 2021. He was the son of the late Jimmy Wilson Edwards and leaves behind his mother, JoAnn Edwards of Marshville, NC. Joey is survived by his two sons, Cory J. Edwards (Megan) of Marshville, NC, and Joey Blake Edwards of Peachland, NC; grandson, Easton Cory Edwards; his brother, Jimmy T. Edwards (Wanda) of Marshville, NC; and a very special lady and companion in his life, Martha James of Marshville, NC. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
