Jimmy (JR) Ramey, 65, of Monroe, NC passed away peacefully with family on April 16, 2022. Jimmy was born February 4th, 1957, to the late Helen Brooks Gilliland and the late Jimmy Willard Ramey. Survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years Priscilla (Nita) Ramey, son Jimmy John "JayJay" Ramey, daughters Helen Michelle "Shelley" Warren, Lorena Monita "Lori" Ricci, and stepdaughter Tonia Ruth Igo of Virginia, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three step grandchildren. He was a member of the moose lodge of Monroe, he had a love for camping, fishing, and was an avid pool player. He was loved by many for his charm and charisma. The celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
