Mr. Jerry Lynn Willmore, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on February 14, 1950, to the late Faye (Beck) Willmore and Chester Willmore, Jerry led a life defined by honor, intelligence, and a commitment to family and community. His pursuit of knowledge began early, as he studied to become a chemical engineer at the University of Missouri, equipping him with skills that enabled him to be an excellent provider.

Jerry was known for his big personality and his unwavering dedication to those around him. He embodied the qualities of a true leader, taking responsibility not only for his immediate family but extending care and support to all who crossed his path. He was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment with his wife, Lisa Willmore, and his five children: daughters, Heather Adams and Amanda Willmore, and sons Kyle Willmore, Zachary Willmore, and Lucas (Joy) Willmore. His love for his grandchildren—Peter and Nathaniel Adams, and Clara Bolyard—was profound, as he took pride in watching them grow. Jerry was excited for the arrival of another grandchild, Ezra Willmore.

In addition to his family life, Jerry made significant contributions to his community. His faith played a central role in his life, highlighted by his service as a Sunday school teacher and his leadership of the Baptist men at Bethel Baptist Church in Jefferson, South Carolina. These roles allowed him to impart values and guidance to many, reinforcing both his commitment to education and his love for God.

Jerry is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and brothers Tom (Joann) Willmore, David (Bonnie) Willmore, and Jeff Willmore. He is predeceased by his mother, Faye Beck Willmore, father, Chester Willmore, and sister-in-law, Jennifer.

The legacy of Mr. Jerry Lynn Willmore will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His impact on his family and community is immeasurable, serving as a testament to the remarkable life he led. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of many.
