Gerard "Jerry" Capobianco was born September 5, 1950 in New York City, where he proudly and bravely served as a New York City Police Officer for 20 years and was a Vietnam Era Army Veteran prior to that. He quietly passed away at 2:15am at the Hospice of Union County on September 19, 2024.

Remaining here on Earth are his Wife Carolyn Capobianco, his four Children: Laurie Capobianco, Emily Capobianco, Amanda (Brian) Minnick and Marcus (Kimberly) Pettas, brother, Steven, and his sisters, Theresa and Barbara. He has eight Grandchildren.

Jerry never knew a stranger and made friends with immense ease. He traveled the country in his RV with his wife Carolyn, whom he married on October 8, 2020. He went on to settle down in Marshville and owned Tony's Pizza at Hilltop in Monroe. He was a staunch servant of his community, his family and friends.
