James Earl Moore, Jr. (43) resident of Monroe, NC was born August 16, 1977 in Charlotte, NC to James Earl Moore, Sr. and Cynthia Ann Williams. He attended East Mecklenburg High School. He married his sweetheart, April Rose Nichols May 18, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He passed at home in his sleep December 19 with his wife by his side.
He was a loving husband to his wife and best friend, April, a dedicated father to their 4 children, a devoted son and brother. He was a kindhearted man with a rare gift of friendship for many people from all walks of life.
James had many interests and abilities. He was skilled in kick boxing and marksmanship, a talented musician, trained in physical therapy and owned his own business. He loved riding his motorcycle. His wit and humor saw him through many trials of injury and illness. He will be missed by many who knew and loved him.
James is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, his children, Maren, Kellan, Maxwell and Scarlett Moore. His mother, Cynthia and sister, Amber Dawn Moore and nephew Corey Jones as well as many extended family members. He was preceded in dealth by his father.
Due to current covid restrictions,seating is limited to 100 people so please no children if possible. Services will be held Monday, December 28 at 2pm at 700 East Sunset Blvd. in Monroe. James was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is being cremated beforehand. There will be no viewing or funeral procession. There will be a zoom link if you cannot attend.
