James Lynn Hough 74, loving husband and father passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2023, at home.

James was born on Sept 29, 1948, in Loudoun County Va., the only son of James and Marie Hough and was raised in Round Hill Virginia.

He attended church services at Methodist Church in Round Hill with his parents and sons.

James graduated from Loudoun Valley High School in 1966.

Upon graduation, he was hired by and worked for Hazelton Research Labs Rodent Toxicology in Vienna, Virginia for many years. After leaving Hazelton, James went to work in the communications field and was still working at the time of passing. He was a hardworking, dedicated employee and found no reason to retire any time soon.

James loved sports, his sons, wife, caring for his pets and his caring for his home. During his time at Hazelton, James was one of the best players on the Hazelton softball team. He also served as assistant coach on his children's little league football teams.

He and his father were Washington football fans and spent many Sunday's watching ball games together and also shared countless conversations with his son on football and soccer. They enjoyed those conversations and time together.

James loved animals. Most recently he adopted a cat who then delivered a large litter of kittens. He kept them all. He had no desire to send them to the animal shelter.

James is survived by his wife Misha Islaminova of the home, his son Steven Hough of Leesburg, Va and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie Hough and his younger son Christopher Hough.

James loved and was loved. He loved his family they were the most important in his life. May he rest in peace and in the company of his parents and son.
