Wesley joined his momma and his father on May 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Wesley had many hobbies that include working on cars, fishing, hunting, and coaching softball. He served as a deacon and enjoyed spending time with his church family at Southern Grace Church.

He is proceeded in death by his momma Peggy Jean Hatcher and father James Henry Hatcher.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Dixon Hatcher, sister Letitia "Tish" Lynn Teal of Wallace ,SC, his beloved children, Brandon Hatcher (Rebecca), Harley Anna Hatcher(Home), Chris Hampton (Amber), Breanna Hatcher (PJ), Josh Hatcher (Carys), Jessie Hancock (Kayla), and David Hancock. Grandchildren, Kaylee, Hunter, Madelyn, Ella Cate, Haley, Jaxson, Raelyn, Lily, Cayden, Brantley. Honorary son Timothy and Ricki Oxendine. Several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews, brother in law David Dixon (Brittany) and sister in law, Shannon Watts (Shannon).
