Our beloved son, Jacob Harvey passed away peacefully at his home on May 18th, 2022. His smile lit up every room. He was a father, brother, son, nephew, and best friend. Jacob Harvey was born to David & Melissa on June 8th, 1997. Jacob was blessed with a large loving family. He had the kindest soul and the biggest heart. He loved fishing with his father and spending all the time he could with his mother. He was a young but loving father and enjoyed laughing and playing with his daughter. He loved exploring the world with his older sister and always had wise words and support for his younger sister. He was a best friend to many, a bright light in this world that will be missed dearly. Jacob is survived by his Parents, Richard David and Melissa Harvey. His siblings, Sam and husband Alex Portillo, and Jessica Harvey. His 3-year-old daughter Alaina Harvey along with her sister Anberlin Seely, which he treated as his own. Jacob leaves behind several other family members including grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. A memorial service to remember Jacob's brief but beautiful life will be held on May 28th, 2:00pm at Holland Funeral Service. 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.
