Jacob Ray Gorsuch, passed away unexpectedly, November 24, 2023, in Monroe, North Carolina. He was born January 19th, 1984, in South Bend, Indiana to George and Brenda Gorsuch.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Dooley, his grandparents, George, Sr., and Florence Gorsuch, Frank and Dora Lee Sargent and nephew, James Tate McGrath.

Cremation has been arranged through Holland Funeral Service, Monroe, NC. A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date in Indiana.

Jake graduated from Concord High School (Goshen, Indiana) in 2003. On December 4, 2009, he married Erika Lynn Dooley.

She survives along with their three children, Reid Jacob, Bauer Mitchell, and Piper Lynn. Jake was a devoted father and husband who cherished his family above everything. He is also survived by his parents in Monroe, North Carolina and mother-in-law, Kimberly Dooley in Elkhart, Indiana. Brothers; David Gorsuch, Plymouth, Indiana, and Michael (Jennifer) Gorsuch, Elkhart, Indiana. SIsters, Tonya Gorsuch, Goshen, Indiana and Stephanie (Jerry) McGrath, Jones, Michigan as well as his sister in law Jess (McKenna Carter) Dooley and Erika's grandmother, Dreama Jensen (Omi). He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews: Kurt (Jessica Rose) Stealy, Mooresville, Indiana, Kerynne (Tom) Breneman, Elkhart, Indiana, Owen Gorsuch Elkhart, Indiana, Will Gorsuch Elkhart, Indiana, Colt Martin Jones, Michigan, Francesca McGrath, Jones, Michigan.
