Mr. Ira Lee Walden, 67, of Marshville, passed away December 3, 2022. He was born November 8, 1955 in Union County to the late Ira Walden Jr. and Mary Edith Walden.

He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Love (Scott), Melissa Walden (Shandon); son, Tony Walden; grandchildren, Tiffany Love, Spencer Walden, Tyler Love, and Avery Walden; one great-grandchild, Xavier Love; and his siblings, Michael Walden, Barbara Ann Abernathy, Darnell Hammond, and Libby Brock. Ira is also survived by his best friend, Lynn Adams.

Ira proudly served in the Army and was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved his Mama and Daddy and was joyfully reunited with them and his brother, Danny.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC. The family will receive guests following the service. Charitable donations may be made in Ira's honor to the VA to help homeless veterans.
