Howard Keith Olive, II, 71 years, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2023. He leaves behind his wife, Constance Olive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Keith Olive and Daisy Florine Olive of Charlotte, NC. He will be missed by his brother, Cader Olive of Herbster, WI, and his sister, Karen Olive of Charlotte, NC; his loving children: Crystal Hastings of Brandenburg, KY; Geb and Samantha Barry of Elberon, VA; Katie and Wayne Hafer of Surry, VA; Phillip and Stephanie Olive of Newport News, VA; Sandra Veryzer of Hampton, VA; and Candace and Nate Carter of Goochland, VA; 21 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins and friends.

He graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC in 1969. He served in the Navy, assigned to the USS Simon Bolivar. He retired from Three Mile Island in 2013.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the care he was shown at Atrium ER, ICU, and Hospice of Union County.

Memorials can be made in honor of Keith's life to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
