IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mr. Hiteshbhai Hiruprasad
Patel
July 14, 1961 – December 10, 2024
The Patel family is heartbroken to announce the passing of their beloved Hiteshbhai Hiruprasad Patel, 63, of Monroe, NC, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with oral cancer. Hitesh is survived by a devoted family: his wife, Tejal Patel; his two sons, Sagar and Jeet; his daughter-in-law, Palak, and his loving dog, Romy, who held a special place in Hitesh's heart. Hitesh is also survived by a large and loving extended family: his brother, Hemangbhai; his sisters, Latikaben, Vandanaben, and Purnimaben; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Hitesh was blessed with so many close family and friends throughout his life, all of whom will miss him dearly. He leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and joy that touched all who knew him.
Born on July 14th, 1961, in Nairobi, Kenya, to late Shri Hiruprasad J. Patel and Smt. Kusumlata H. Patel, Hitesh was known for his kind spirit, generosity, and passion for life. He dedicated himself to his family and community with love and selflessness. To his children, he was not just a father but a friend, a mentor, and a constant source of support and laughter. He was their biggest cheerleader, guiding them with love, wisdom, and an endless supply of dad jokes that always brought a smile. He created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional support, and he celebrated their achievements as though they were his own. His pride in them was evident in every word he spoke, and his legacy as a loving, dedicated father will forever remain in their hearts.
To his wife, Hitesh was a partner in every sense of the word—a caring, devoted husband who loved her deeply. Their bond was built on love, mutual respect, and a shared joy for life. Whether dancing together at Navratri, hosting family gatherings, traveling the world, or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home, their relationship was a testament to the beauty of partnership and forever love.
His wife, Tejal, and their children would like to thank the many family and friends that took time to visit, reminisce, and laugh with Hitesh in his final days. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Farmer, Dr. Frenkle, and the many expert medical professionals at Levine Cancer Institute and Atrium Health for their unending care and support of Hitesh and his family.
