Dateline: Monroe, NC Mr. Hiram Caldwell Purser Jr., 79, passed away April 29, 2021. Hiram was born in Union County on May 24, 1941 to the late Hiram and Zela Hinson Purser. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery. Hiram is survived by his son, Eric (Annette); daughter, Tammy Maske (Mark), and Nakoa Holder of Argyle Texas; and 10 grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew, and Kyle Maske, Austin, Hunter, Cody, Jessie, and Justin (Bird) Purser, Karsyn, Cayden and Parker Holder; and two great grandchildren, Ellie and Emerald Maske; sister, Helen Philemon (Rodgell); and brothers, Rodney Purser (Karen), and Joe Neal Purser. In addition to his parents, Hiram was preceded in passing by his son, Scott Hiram Purser. Memorials to Hospice of Union County or your charity of choice.
