Mr. Henry "Bud" Pressley, 78, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023. He was born June 2, 1945 to the late Hulsey Pressley and Etta Helms Pressley. Bud was a godly man, he was a member at Bible Baptist Tabernacle Church for 21 years. He loved his church family and cherished going on trips with the "Treasured Saints." He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with is family and was always made sure they were well cared for. Bud was a fun loving man with a contagious personality, he was a joy to be around and would always joke around with everyone. He could often be found in his garage restoring antique tractors and cars. When he wasn't in his garage he loved to be out his the boat and enjoyed fishing. He especially loved eating at the fish camp. Bud also had grand-dogs and great-grand dogs that he cared for.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Bible Baptist Tabernacle Church, 2900 Walkup Avenue, Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 2:00pm until 2:45pm. Mr. Pressley will be laid to rest at 11:00am on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy Pressley; children, Richard Wayne Pressley, Timothy Lane Pressley (Deborah), and Christopher Scott Pressley; brother, Jack Pressley (Barbara); sister, Shirley Steele; granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Pressley and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for the care they gave to Bud during his final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Tabernacle Church.
