Gregory Davidson, age 59, of Monroe, NC, passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on January 10, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Melanie (White) Davidson. Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Jeff Davidson (Samantha) of Salisbury, NC, and Justin Davidson of Charlotte, NC. He had one grandson, Cameron. He is also survived by his father, Roger Davidson of Bluefield, WV. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Alice (Hicks) Davidson. He is also survived by: Leonard & Ruby White (in-laws), and Alex and Belinda Young. He had several friends that were very special and were always there for him: Shawn Queen, Chad Craig, and Charlie Bradley. He will be missed by his faithful companion, Bessie.

He loved working on cars, watching racing, ATV riding, and just spending time with family and friends. Over the next year, his family and friends will take his ashes to some of his favorite places.
