George (Bo) Brown Abernathy III

June 26, 1988 – March 29, 2023

Bo Abernathy – 34, of Monroe, NC completed his time on this earth with us on Wednesday March 29, 2023. He was born on June 26, 1988 and was the son of George (Buster) Brown Abernathy Jr. and Robin Mullis Franklin.

There will be a "Celebration Of Life" service for Bo on Saturday April 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Legacy Chapel of Hopewell Baptist in Monroe (Fairview), NC. All family and friends are welcomed to join us.

Bo will be remembered as a kind and generous person who would share whatever he had with others. He was an avid outdoorsman and well known for having a sharp eye and being an excellent marksman. Bo (like many of his family members) was a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan and you would often see him sporting his team's colors.

Bo was preceded in death by his grandparents Boyce & Tempie Mullis as well as his grandfather George Brown Abernathy Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother Matthew Franklin.

Bo is survived by his parents Buster (Renee) Abernathy and Robin (Mark) Franklin as well as his brothers Luke Abernathy, Brett Abernathy, Colt Threadgill, Mark Franklin Jr. and Josh Franklin. Bo is also survived by his grandmother Bernice Abernathy.
