Gene Parks, 53, passed away July 9, 2023. Gene was born in York County, SC on November 18, 1969. Gene loved spending time with his family, cooking and baking. In his free time he loved going to the beach and camping. He was very passionate about his Jeep. Through his battle with ALS he never gave up and always had a will to live.

At Gene's request, a private service will be held by his family.

Gene is survived by his daughter, Amber Parks (Smitty); grandchildren, Payton & Presley McWhorter, and Braiden Parks; parents, Eugene Parks Sr. and Judith Parks fiancé, Sharon Hagler; sister, Lisa Brigman (Al).

Gene was preceded in passing by his son, Justin Lee Parks.
