Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Mr. Lopez Mercado will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Lakeland Memorial Park immediately following the service.

Visitation will be held at Holland Funeral Service prior to the funeral from 9:00am until 10:15am.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our devoted Enudio Lopez Mercado to be with Jesus, at the age of 85, on April 12, 2025. Born on the island of Puerto Rico, son of Enudio Lopez and Julia Mercado, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Lopez leaves a faith legacy to his wife, Maria E. Pomales, his five children, Deborah, Josue, Melissa, Eric, Donna, his 15 grandchildren, and his seven great-grandchildren.

Also known as "Nuyin", he had an unwavering faith in Christ. He pastored an inner-city church in Cleveland, OH, with his wife. He moved to North Carolina in 2017. He retired from the government of Puerto Rico. He was known for his devotion to Christ, his wife, and family. He taught us how to love well. He was respected for his wisdom; he was a generous soul. Leaving behind memories of laughter and grace, our devoted Enudio celebrates with the Almighty as we wait to be reunited.

Con gran pesar en nuestros corazones anunciamos el fallecimiento en paz de nuestro devoto Enudio López Mercado para estar con Jesús, a la edad de 85 años, el 12 de abril de 2025. Nacido en la isla de Puerto Rico, hijo de Enudio López y Julia Mercado, y veterano del Ejército de los Estados Unidos, el Sr. López deja un legado de fe a su esposa, María E. Pomales, sus cinco hijos; Deborah, Josué, Melissa, Eric, Donna, sus 15 nietos, y sus siete bisnietos.

También conocido como "Nuyin", tenía una fe inquebrantable en Cristo. Pastoreo una iglesia en Cleveland, Ohio, con su esposa. Se mudó a Carolina del Norte en 2017 con su familia. Se jubiló del gobierno de Puerto Rico. Era conocido por su devoción a Cristo, a su esposa y a su familia. Nos enseñó a amar bien. Era respetado por su sabiduría; era un alma generosa. Dejando atrás recuerdos de risas y gracia, nuestro amoroso Enudio celebra con el Todopoderoso mientras esperamos reencontrarnos.
