Mr. Earl Bruce Hannon, 79, passed away November 21, 2023. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 26, 1944, to the late Robert Lee Hannon and Eva Whitehead Hannon. Earl was raised in Rutherford County, North Carolina before joining the Army. He proudly served in the US Army in Germany for six years as a Staff Sergeant (E-6). He later went on to work in the automotive industry for over forty years and was a licensed private pilot.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Diane Hannon, his children, David (Nely) Hannon of Greenville, SC, Jeff (Stephanie) Walker of Mint Hill, NC, Shelly (Billy) Kiker of Marshville, NC, and Merri (Ben) True of Charlotte, NC; brother, Steve Hannon of Rutherfordton, NC; sisters, Frances McSwain of Landrum, SC, and Dorothy Grissom of Salisbury, NC; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
