Douglas Daniel Gott, 69, passed away peacefully Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born May 23, 1952, to the late Douglas C. Gott and Joan Corsi Gott. He is survived by his two beautiful children, Nicole and Micayla; three siblings on the West Coast, Corry (Jan), Brian (Lana) and Sheelah (Greg); a couple nieces and nephews; and many friends. Douglas was a wonderful and caring man with a troubled soul. He was a man that truly loved his family and friends and all the support they provided to him. Through the support of his dear friends in his AA-Group, Douglas was proud to gain his ten-year sobriety chip. He was a life-long mechanic and recognized his customers and friends by the type of cars they would drive. When Douglas wasn't involved in Civil-War reenactments, he loved to deer hunt and fish, and he loved working in his garden. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
