Douglas Wayne Arant, 58, passed away August 15, 2025. Douglas was born February 28, 1967 to the late James Arant and Bertha Starnes Faulkenbury. Douglas was a skilled small engine mechanic who could fix anything. When Douglas wasn't working, he could often be found working in his yard. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00pm on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

In addition to his parents, Douglas is preceded in passing by his sister, Donna Helms, and brother, James Devin Arant.

He is survived by his son, Cody Arant, and sisters, Shelia Manus (Chuck), and Tammy Arant Kelly (Andy Lemmond).
