Donald "Donnie" E. Brown, 67, passed away peacefully March 7, 2024, with his family by his side after a short battle with cancer. Donnie was born on October 18, 1956, in Hamilton, Ohio to Walter Brown Sr. and Carolyn Brown.

The most important part of Donnie's life was his wife, children, and grandchildren. Donnie never met a stranger and was always giving life lessons and would do anything to help someone. One of his biggest accomplishments was his 35 years of service as an Underground Technician at Union Power of Monroe. After retirement, he and his wife enjoyed living at Badin Lake and recently started the RV life at the beach which he enjoyed dancing and attending classic car shows.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, March 10, 2024 at Holland Funeral Service.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 50 years, Debbie; daughter, Tricia Brown (Chris); son, Tim Brown (Julie); grandchildren, Kylie Brown, Kamryn Brown, Caleb Brown, Makenzie Beamer, Shawnee Efird, Bryson Haywood; mother, Carolyn Harrington; sisters, Judy Goodwin, Kathy Nichols; brothers, Howard Brown (Ellen), and Walter Brown.

Donnie was preceded in passing by his father, Walter Brown Sr.; and brother, Bradley Brown.

His meticulous personality leaves behind a wonderful legacy.
