David Wallace Rhodes, 64, passed away November 7, 2022. He was born April 3, 1958 to the late Hubert Rhodes and Juanita Thrasher. David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by many and was caring man. He had a contagious sense of humor and always enjoyed sharing his jokes with his friends and family. He was an incredibly hard worker. He worked for Coca Cola for over 17 years and absolutely loved what he did for a living. When he wasn't working he loved fishing and working in his garden.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

David is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Charlotte Rhodes; children, Kimberly Burns, David Cantrell (Meghan), and Jennifer Etters (Joey); grandchildren, Halie Etters, Wesley Etters, Elijah Cruz, Kyia Cruz Josh Smith, Alexa Smith and Alona Fredrick; one brother; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in passing by his brother, Ricky Rhodes, and brother-in-law, Bill Thomas.

David will truly be missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
