David Plyler, 82, of Monroe passed away October 18, 2024 at his home. He was born June 27, 1942. He is son of Odell and Edith Plyler who preceded him in death. His siblings preceding him in death are Fred Plyler, Ben Plyler, and twin sister, Dianne Griffith.

David is survived by two daughters, Krystal Griffin (Jeff), Karmen Plyler Hadley (Jeff), five grandchildren, siblings, Barbara O'Donohue, Mary Mosley, Ron Plyler and brother-in-law, Barney Griffith.

David lived and worked in Prospect Community all his life. He loved farming, gardening, deer hunting, beekeeping, reading, and joke telling. He made many friends through selling honey and being at Farmers Market.

He will be missed by all who loved him.

There will be no service at this time.
