Mr. David Arthur Norton Sr., 90, passed away March 8, 2022. He was born on March 4, 1932, to the late Barney James Norton Sr. and Beulah Edna Norton. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in passing by siblings, Barney James Norton Jr., Robert Lee Norton and Jerry Edward Norton; granddaughter, Jeanna Marie Norton; great grandson, Tyler Boatright, daughter-in-law, Cheryl Elam Norton. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Norton; sons, David Arthur Norton Jr. (Jeanette), Dale Lee Norton; sister, Mary Lois Lee; grandchildren, Kristia Norton Boatright, Dave Arthur Norton III, Brian Parker (Jennifer), Christopher Parker, Kaleb Adkins (Samira); great grandchildren, Cheryl-Lynn Norton (Riley), Katelyn Kiker, Natalie Cochran, Nathan Cochran, Destiny Parker, Braxton Parker, Jaxon Parker, Alexandria Parker; great great granddaughters, Novalynn Capps and Evelynn Capps. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Holland Funeral Service. Mr. Norton will be laid to rest with full military honors at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte following the conclusion of the service. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Norton Family.
