David Halsey Bullock, 81, of Marshville, passed away on January 18, 2024.

David was born in Waterford, Vermont on February 19, 1942, to Frank Chandler Bullock and Lola Kirkpatrick Bullock. After graduating from St. Johnsbury Trade School in 1959, David enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served honorably from 1959 through 1964.

He was married to Gloria Robinson on April 8, 1967. David and Gloria went on to have four children together. David always put family first and was a dedicated Husband, Father, and Grandfather.

He retired from a lifelong career in truck driving, with his most recent years spent working for Baucom Services. He enjoyed spending most of his time in retirement walking his dog, working in the garden, and visiting with his grandchildren.

David was predeceased by his daughter Rosetta, his parents, four sisters, and three brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gloria; one son, Darren; two daughters, Alison Brame (Tommy) and Krista Bohanon (Billy); six grandsons, four granddaughters, and two great granddaughters.

A Memorial service will be held on February 3rd, 2024, at Euto Baptist Church located at 6019 NC-205, Marshville, NC. The visitation will be at 10:00 AM followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM.

A graveside burial service will be held on May 11th, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery located on Riverside Cemetery Rd. in Waterford, VT at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
