Darrell Wayne Joyner, 52, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was born July 3, 1970, to the late Floyd Buchanon Joyner and Marcine Griffin Joyner. Darrell was born and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina before moving to his residence in Marshville. He married the love of his life, Cathy, on March 19, 1988. Darrell was a loving father, husband, and friend. He was a hard worker and served as a lineman for Duke Energy for over 20 years. When he wasn't working, he could be found hunting, fishing, and even camping. Darrell's family find comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace in his heavenly home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 34 years, Cathy Joyner; children, Jody Joyner, Brooke Keziah, and Cason Joyner; grandchildren, Riley Keziah, Brody Joyner, Layla Keziah, Brynley Joyner, Bailey Keziah, and Liam Keziah; brother, Dale Joyner; and niece, Amanda Joyner.
