Mr. Dale Edward Helms, 66, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born in Union County, North Carolina on August 10, 1956 to the late JD Helms and Eloise Helms. Dale was a giving and kind man, who would lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a humble man and worked as a carpenter throughout his life. When Dale wasn't working, he could often be found fishing. Dale's family finds comfort in knowing that he is at peace in the present of his Lord and Savior.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30pm on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Altan Presbyterian Church, 5004 Wolf Pond Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will gather with friends at the church from 3:00pm until 3:30pm prior to the service.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in passing by his brother, Tommy Helms.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Steven Helms, Trinity Helms (Courtney), Chad Helms (Erin), and Amber Helms Seibel; siblings, Barbara Forester (Dewey), and Eddie Helms (Carson); numerous grandchildren, and many other special family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be in Dale's Memory to Altan Presbyterian Church.
