Obituary

Curtis Benton Eudy, 80, passed away September 19, 2024. He was born December 7, 1943 to the late Segal Eudy and Lucille Morgan Eudy. In addition to his parents, Curtis is preceded in passing by his daughters, Kara Eudy and Kristy Eudy, brother, Grady Eudy, nephews, Phil Miller, and Robert Miller; brothers-in-law, Tom Miller, and Don Sloop; sister-in-law, Lois Eudy, and mother-in-law, Jo Ann Price.

Curtis was a devoted husband, dad, paw paw, brother and uncle. A God-fearing Christian, Curtis cherished his faith and lived by its values.

He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, spending countless hours hunting, fishing and enjoying nature. You could always find him piddling outside, whether it be tending to his garden or working in his building. He found joy in sitting on his front porch watching the deer and birds.

An accomplished athlete, Curtis excelled in baseball and golf. He was also a talented woodworker, known for crafting everything from dog and bird houses to deer stands.

He was always lending a helping hand to friends and neighbors without expecting anything in return. His laughter filled the air as he loved to joke around with people and play lighthearted pranks.

Above all, Curtis adored his family. His wife, daughter and granddaughter were the lights of his life, and cherished every moment spent with them.

Curtis leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He will be deeply missed but remembered for his generosity, love for nature and unwavering commitment to his family and faith.
