Crescenciano "Chencho" Lopez Alegria, 42, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away on October 20, 2025.

Born in Coyolillo, Mexico, to Cresenciano and Agricola Lopez, Chencho lived a life full of laughter, hard work, and deep devotion to the people he loved most. He was a proud father to his daughter, Gabriela, and his son, Miguel, who were his greatest joy and constant source of pride. There wasn't a person Chencho met who didn't hear stories about his kids—he loved sharing their achievements and showing them off every chance he got.

Chencho worked for Matthews Millwork and Chili's Bar & Grill, where his strong work ethic, easy smile, and practical jokes made him a friend to everyone. Whether lending a helping hand or pulling a lighthearted prank, Chencho had a gift for bringing joy to those around him.

A passionate fan of Club América soccer and the Denver Broncos, Chencho never missed a chance to cheer on his teams. He loved music and adventure—attending Ultra Music Festival, singing along to Maná and Shakira, and enjoying life's rhythms to the fullest. He also adored his loyal dog, Lupe, who was always by his side.

Chencho will be deeply missed by his children, Gabriela and Miguel; his parents, Agricola and Crescenciano; his brother, Abraham; and the many friends and family who were lucky enough to know and love him.

His bright spirit, playful humor, and endless love for his family will live on in every heart he touched.

Public visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 9:00pm on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

Nacido en Coyolillo, México, de Cresenciano y Agrícola López, Chencho vivió una vida llena de risas, trabajo duro y profunda devoción por las personas que más amaba. Fue un orgulloso padre de su hija, Gabriela, y su hijo, Miguel, quienes eran su mayor alegría y constante motivo de orgullo. No había persona que conociera a Chencho que no escuchara historias sobre sus hijos: le encantaba compartir sus logros y presumirlos en cada oportunidad.

Chencho trabajó en Matthews Millwork y Chili's Bar & Grill, donde su ética laboral, sonrisa fácil y bromas prácticas lo convirtieron en amigo de todos. Ya fuera ofreciendo una mano amiga o haciendo una broma ligera, Chencho tenía el don de llevar alegría a quienes lo rodeaban.

Apasionado seguidor del Club América y de los Denver Broncos, Chencho nunca perdía la oportunidad de animar a sus equipos.
