Christopher " Christo" John Scoggins, 50, of Charlotte, North Carolina, left for his final hike on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born May 17, 1974 to John and Catherine Scoggins.

He was forever transformed by his hike on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and in tru nobo fashion through completing the Appalachian Trail. Whenever he wasn't hiking he was being a great dad and keeping the post office in business with "Thank You" cards or encouraging notes to others.

He is survived by his loving but pissed off wife of 5 years, Miranda and their daughter, Iris Scoggins, older brother, Charles (Marybeth) Scoggins, nieces, Abigail Scoggins, Emily Scoggins and nephew, Jacob Scoggins, his fur babies, Zeva and Greyson, and many wonderful friends which are too many to name.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Pepper Scoggins.

His cats would like to pass on the message that he is late feeding them.

Christo would want to remind everybody that cookies need love like everything does so have a nice coffee and think of him.

Services are private.
