Christopher Alan Carter, 42, of Lancaster, SC, passed away November 10, 2022 in his wife's loving embrace. He was born December 29, 1979 to the late Keith Carter and Karen B. Carter of Lancaster, SC.

He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents, Catherine and Doc Barr. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Brittany "Nicki" Carter; his children, Breeanna Faith Byars (James), Lyra Hope Carter, Katherine Michael Serenity Carter, and Zoey Grace Carter; and his future grandson, Baby Byars; his mother-in-law, Allison Estes; and several other extended family and dear friends. He adored his children; they were his life. Chris cherished his beloved wife. He loved all his family and friends. He was always there for everyone and would help anyone who needed it.

Chris loved sports. Golf was his number one thing and he loved to play whenever he could. A NASCAR fan, he enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt. The family enjoyed watching football and basketball together. He also loved Andy Griffith and was the "remote man", always having control of the tv remote. He also enjoyed fishing. He especially loved his pet chicken, Bob, and his dog, Hollywood. It was common to catch him riding around with Bob, may Bob rest in peace as well.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00PM on Monday, November 14th at 2037 Dwight Starnes Road, Lancaster, SC 29720 with Calvin Snipes officiating.
