Charles Richard Taylor, 75, of Waxhaw, NC passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at home surrounded by family. He was born June 25, 1950 in Jamestown, NY, the son of late Chester Gordon Taylor and Lillian Dora Schumaker. Charles had attended Jamestown High School. He enjoyed working as a mechanic at Reale Auto sales and working at Bush Industries in Jamestown, NY where he retired from. He enjoyed fixing and working on cars, spending time with family, teaching his grandchildren how to drive, and spending time with his dogs.

Charles is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Tay-lor; siblings, including his twin brother, Chester B.

(Gladys) Taylor S., his sister, Linda Taylor and : and his brother, Orville (Sharon) Taylor, his daughters, Melinda (Ralph) Boughton, Lillian Tay-lor; and son, Richard Taylor, grandchildren- Brett (Rebekah) Boughton, Ashley (Hampton) Stogner:

Jordan (Katie) Boughton; Joseph & Scott Cappa-donia; Shawn Dunn; Destinie (Uriel) Cappadonia; Bryan and Nichole Taylor; Ciano Taylor; Jayden Taylor; Brianna (Josh) Davis, several great-gran-children, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his son, Charles Richard Taylor Jr.; daughter, Melody Ann Taylor; and son, Allen Taylor.

A celebration of life will held at a later date.
